This year’s Crimson Celebration Wine – our Holiday Cuvée Pinot Noir – was created as a quiet luxury just for you. Crafted at Archery Summit in the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, it brings together two estate vineyards on the same hillside that see the light in very different ways, resulting in a Pinot Noir that feels both bright and deeply grounded.
Renegade Ridge Vineyard sits at the very top of the estate and is Archery Summit’s only east-facing site. From this vantage point, it catches the first light of the day, translating into a wine component that feels fresher and more lifted, with a natural brightness on the palate. In the blend, Renegade Ridge is what gives the cuvée its energy and aromatic lift—like a first breath of cool morning air.
Archer’s Edge, by contrast, is the gateway to the winery—a south-facing slope at the lower, southern portion of the estate that seems to welcome you the moment you arrive. Cradled in a warm pocket of land with rich resident soils and a diversity of Pinot Noir clones, this vineyard has an “old soul” personality, offering both fruity and savory nuances. In the Holiday Cuvée, Archer’s Edge brings the richness, depth, and backbone—the silky structure that carries each sip to a long, satisfying finish.
Together, these two vineyards create a Pinot Noir that feels layered yet effortless: lively and refreshing from Renegade Ridge, seamlessly woven with the more generous, textural side of Archer’s Edge.
