Originating from the historic Home Ranch Vineyard in Alexander Valley—where the pioneering Zinfandel vines took root in 1895—comes an exceptional Red Wine blend of Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Petite Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. This terrain, with its meager topsoil over layers of basalt, sandstone, and volcanic rock, challenges our vines, concentrating the fruit’s flavors to yield a wine that is both intensely flavorful and complex.
The warm days of Alexander Valley, softened by the afternoon breeze, contribute to the remarkable character of this wine. Under the watchful eye of fifth-generation winegrower Ned Neumiller, our vines are meticulously tended and harvested, ensuring a wine that is perfectly balanced and opulent with bright, refreshing tones. It’s a wine that speaks of its origin, with deep notes of dark fruit flavors, and lively cherry creating a harmonious finish on the palate.
