Seghesio Family Vineyards Portfolio Receives Top Scores in January 2014 issue of California Grapevine

Seghesio Family Vineyards 2011 Home Ranch Zinfandel was rated 91 Points in January 2014 issue of California Grapevine. 
Medium-dark purplish ruby color; attractive, forward, rich, brambly, peppery, ripe raspberry and blackberry fruit aroma; full body; big, rich, textured, briary, peppery, red and black fruit flavors with good depth and concentration; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. A big, ripe style of Zinfandel though still nicely balanced. Very highly recommended. 

Seghesio Family Vineyards 2011 Monte Rosso Zinfandel was rated 91 Points in January 2014 issue of California Grapevine.
Medium-dark purplish ruby; attractive, intense, briary, dark cherry and berry fruit aroma with a note of mocha; full body; big, rich, jammy, brambly, peppery, blackberry fruit flavors with good depth; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Very highly recommended.

Seghesio Family Vineyards 2011 Pagani Zinfandel was rated 91 Points in January 2014 issue of California Grapevine.
Medium to medium-dark ruby color; attractive, forward, ripe, brambly, blackberry fruit aroma with hints of cinnamon and dark chocolate; full body; fairly supple, briary, blackberry fruit flavors with herbal notes and some creaminess in the mouthfeel; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Good depth and intensity makes this wine very enjoyable to drink now. Very highly recommended.

Seghesio Family Vineyards 2011 Old Vine Zinfandel was rated 90 Points in January 2014 issue of California Grapevine.
Medium-dark purplish ruby; attractive, forward, intense, briary, plummy, ripe dark cherry and blackberry fruit aroma; full body; big, rich, extracted, briary, rustic, blackberry flavors with a rough, gripping finish; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Could use some bottle aging. Very highly recommended.

Seghesio Family Vineyards 2010 Cortina Zinfandel was rated 90 Points in January 2014 issue of California Grapevine.
Medium-dark ruby; attractive, spicy, dark cherry and black raspberry fruit aroma; full body; deep, rich, concentrated, textured, cedary, raspberry and boysenberry flavors with spicy and toasty notes along with hints of white pepper and dark chocolate; medium-full to full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Very highly recommended.
